Gil Valenzuela is a Filipino pastor, business owner, father, and grandfather, based in the Chicagoland area. He and his wife of 43 years, Edita Valenzuela, have 3 children: Gilda, Gilson and Gilary. Gil has a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering from Central Luzon State University in Munoz Nueva Ecija, Philippines; a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky; and has completed PhD coursework in Intercultural Studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. Many of Gil’s hobbies include, singing, painting, cooking, gardening, writing and spending time with his 6 grandchildren. Gil hopes to inspire others through myJOURNEY by sharing his life’s testimony.
